Megazone 23 - Mecha Profiles |
|
The top secret prototype bike, the Garland, is acquired by Shogo Yahagi by accident when he meets up with Shinji Nakagawa, his friend and test pilot of the bike. Little does Shogo know that it will change his world forever. Apparently the design of the Garland was based upon information obtained from the Bahamut and could have been used to create a space fighter, but the military instead chose to create a bike configuration. The Garland is the only means of communicating with the EVE program.
A mass produced military robot, which in many ways is inferior to the Garland. The arms and legs are attached via the Hargun transport as seem below.
The only way for the Hargun to transform into it's robot form is inside this military transport. Inside the Hargun's arms and legs can be attached. The total length of the truck is 5 metres.
A heavily armoured version of the Hargun specially built for battle with the Delzag outside Megazone 23.
Designed for patrol and pursuit in the sub-terrain city under Tokyo in Megazone 23. It is equipped with a three barrelled machine gun.
A Flagga with a longer body which is pacifically designed to carry a transformed Hargun robot. It is also equipped with three barrelled machine gun.
The military's main space fighter which is used in the battle against the Delzag. It is armed with a double laser turret.
Another military fighter, but this one is designed to fly close to the enemy and release it's cluster missile payload which protrudes out the front of the craft.
This military fighter appears briefly in "Megazone 23", but none of the artbooks I have give it a name or any specifications.
The main fighter used by the Dezalg. I can't find many details about it any of the artbooks I have.
Another mysterious Dezalg probe which appears briefly in "Megazone 23". Like a lot of the secondary mecha, there's practically no information about it anywhere. It seems to be a non-combat intelligence gathering probe. | ||||||||||||||||||||
